Dicembre: inevitabile pensare al Natale!
December: how can you not think about Christmas?
Mettiamo insieme i miei ingredienti preferiti del momento: iuta, pizzi e timbri...
Let's put together my favourite ingredients: burlap, lace and stamps...
Ed è vero che il Natale è colore, luci, regali, decorazioni....ma è anche, e soprattutto, un momento per pensare ai veri valori della vita, che troppo spesso ci sfuggono...
Christmas is color, ligths, gifts, ornaments...but it is also, and mostly, a time to think about the real values of life...
sogni: perchè ognuno di noi ha diritto ad avere un sogno
dreams: since everybody should have a dream
amore: ingrediente essenziale della nostra vita
love: main ingredient of our lives
famiglia: i nostri figli, genitori, nonni, i tesori più preziosi
family: our sons, parents, grandpas, our most precious treasures
fede: per riscaldare il cuore
faith: to warm up our hearts
speranza: in un mondo migliore e bambini con il diritto alla vita
hope: in a better world and children with the rigth to live
amicizia: perchè è bello avere amici
friends: it's nice to have them
E così ho creato queste decorazioni natalizie da appendere all'albero, ad una ghirlanda, in qualunque punto della casa.
Palline di iuta, con attaccato del pizzo ed un nastrino sul quale ho stampato con inchiostro bianco le scritte. Dalle foto non si vede bene, ve ne mostro solo una per vedere il dettaglio.
And so I created these christmas ornaments. Burlap balls with lace and a string where I stamoed the words in white. It is not very clear from the above pictures so I show here one with more detail.
